Kat Graham has joined Shameik Moore (Netflix’s The Get Down), Empire star Terrence Howard, Wesley Snipes (Blade), Eiza González (Baby Driver), and All Eyez on Me co-star Demetrius Shipp Jr. for the post-Katrina heist drama, Cut Throat City, with Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA at the helm. The pic, currently filming in New Orleans, is produced by Elliott Michael Smith of Rumble Riot Pictures, Michael Mendelsohn of Patriot Pictures, William Clevinger, Kyle Tekiela, Sean Lydiard, Film Wealth, and RZA.

P.G. Cuscheri wrote the script which centers on four boyhood friends who return to New Orleans’ Lower Ninth Ward after Hurricane Katrina, to find their home decimated and prospects for work swept away. Turning to a local gangster for employment, the crew is hired to pull off a daring casino heist, right in the heart of the city.

Kat Graham Joins Frank Grillo, Tyler Posey in Action Thriller ‘Decoy’
Kat Graham, one of the stars of The Vampire Diaries, is joining Frank Grillo and Tyler Posey in Decoy, an action thriller to be directed by Allan Ungar.

Andy Garcia is also starring in the movie, which is eyeing a start later this month in Toronto. Andrew Gunn, Michael Bien and Angela Donald are set to produce for Gunn Films and Cedarvale Pictures.
Billed as a cross between Enemy of the State and Mr. Robot, Decoyfollows a young identity thief (Posey) who finds himself being hunted by the NSA after he unwittingly steals the identity of a wanted man.

Graham will play a hacker who forms an unlikely alliance with Posey as they attempt to uncover the truth.

David Benullo wrote the script. Henry Less, Don Young, Tom North, Tannaz Anisi, Greg Schenz and Ben Shahrabani are executive producing.

Below is news about Kat Graham leaving “The Vampire
Diaries” after season 8 and I’ve added HQ photos of Kat
attending the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards last Sunday.

From US Weekly:
Farewell, Mystic Falls! Kat Graham, who has played witch Bonnie Bennett on The Vampire Diaries since the supernatural drama’s 2009 pilot episode, tells Us Weekly exclusively that she is leaving the show after season 8. The actress, 26, spoke to Us at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday, April 3, at the Forum in Inglewood, California, where she revealed that it will be tough to say goodbye to the popular CW series, which is currently airing its seventh season.

“Season 8 will be my last season,” Graham says. “I just hope that whatever I do after, the crew can come with me. If the crew can come with me, then we’ll be good. The crew is going to be the hardest thing to let go, because we are a family.” “But you know what, another season is a whole other year, and we’re going to blow it out,” she continues.

Indeed, Graham points out that Bonnie will face some emotional moments as season 7 comes to a close. Recent episodes have involved the witch recovering from an attack by Tyler (Michael Trevino), and teaming with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) to take down Rayna (Leslie-Anne Huff). “There’s some really intense stuff with my character this season,” the Hannah Montana alum says. “I think the biggest episodes I’ve ever had are 20 [airing April 29] and 21 [airing May 6]. It’s pretty major for the character — huge turns, a lot of stunts and cool s–t!” – Source: US Magazine
